Our support doesn’t end after primary care. Once the primary phase of treatment is completed, we offer exposure therapy during the secondary phase of treatment, allowing clients to engage with the world with increased freedoms, in order to experience triggers, and process these with their counsellors, whilst still in a safe and supportive environment. Anchor Huis appears in the new show "Ewout in the Addiction Clinic" on Videoland
Anker Huis rehab, along with partner clinics Cherrywood House and Villa Consano, are the focus of a new series by programmer Ewout Genemans, in which he visits Dutch people undergoing addiction treatment in South Africa.
Our treatment center attracts many Dutch clients each year. In his program Ewout In De Verslavingskliniek, Genemans wants to understand why treatment in South Africa is so attractive to Dutch people.
Through intimate interviews with clients and our staff, he gets answers to these and other questions. The Videoland series gives a unique look behind the doors of Anchor Huis, which normally remain strictly closed due to our focus on client privacy.
The pilot episode of the show will be available on Videoland streaming service from May 22nd.

Residential Programme
We employ a flexible approach in our residential addiction treatment, placing the individual and their specific needs and capacities at the center of the individual treatment plan. Our minimum programme duration is 30 days.
Aftercare Support Services
We are committed to helping our clients achieve meaningful recovery in order to reintegrate into a happy and healthy lifestyle that is sustainable in the long run. This sustainable foundation must be laid for successful ongoing rehabilitation and recovery, with reliable relapse prevention and accountability.
Family Support Group
Quite often the addict will feel isolated, trapped by their addiction and unable to communicate with their family and friends. While they may feel isolated and separate from others, the consequences of their addiction are not.

Underlying mental issues could take the form of anxiety disorders, ADHD, insecurities, trauma, depression or bipolar disorders; we’re here to show your brain the attention it needs in order to figure this out.
